Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."
An excerpt from my journal, June 2012
"...in a letter from a friend I read that there is a part of Heavenly Father in all
of us. That couldn’t be any truer. With that in each of us, I believe that
there is good in all of us, or rather the ability to do good and become good no
matter what your past holds. Likewise, as humans, I feel that we all are born
with an innate desire to leave our mark on the world, to be able to sit at our
death bed and remember that we did something to leave the world a little better
than when we entered life.
The
Lord loves each and everyone of us, including me. He knows our pitfalls, our
weaknesses, and more importantly, our strengths. He knows what we are capable
of, and when we put our trust in Him, He will direct us towards our best path."
I am not a parent, so I cannot speak from experience, but I believe that and good parent is willing to do anything to see to the well-being of their children. However, we are mortal. As mortals, we have limitations. Though we try to do everything, sometimes we simply cannot come through.
Luckily, alongside our mortal parents we have spiritual parents.
Pause for just one moment and remember that you have a Heavenly Father. He is a perfect parent. He is God. Therefore, He can literally make anything happen. And though it is easy to forget that He is directing us or that He really knows us better than we do, He never forgets us. If we trust in Him, He will direct our paths. Come what may, we will be okay.
Con amor,
Carolina
