Clickity-Click
Grown up, yet inexperienced.
Flustered, yet eloquent.
Sometimes its nice to black out everything but the keyboard.
Sometimes its nice to let your fingers express what every other fiber of your being cannot.
This way you let everything go. Somehow it all begins to make sense as you type things out. You don't feel so alone. You don't feel so inadequate.
We all go through changes, its all inevitable really. From the moment we are created we never stop changing. Always moving forward, even if it doesn't seem that way. From every experience, every person entering our lives, every transmission of data in our brains we change.
With change we must say goodbye. Goodbye to the best and the brightest. Goodbye to those we love. Goodbye who were an immense part of our moulding. I'm a firm believer that everyone we come into contact with has something to teach us, even if it's that we need to check our blind spots before lane changing; i've gotten the finger during this lesson. I also believe that once our lessons have been learned those people move on to other people to affect and other people to be affected by. We all have something to learn and to teach and if we need the same people again they will come back into our lives.
I just finished my first year of college. I met many amazing people. People who will be doing great things in their lives. Alas, I probably will not see many of them again, but i'm not through with all of them just yet. I know that there are still those, other than my roommates, who will be part of my life for years to come; i'm just not sure who yet.
Life is strange, confusing, and wonderful. You never know who will be right around the corner. Likewise, you never know when you will be just what someone needed. I'm not sure where i'm going, but as long as I know where I want to end up, I think i'll turn out all right.
