The day I set fire to my life plan

So remember that one post where I told ya all about my life and how I planned everything out?

Well that's all moot now.

Today, in General Conference Thomas S. Monson, the Prophet of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, announced a change in policy for missionaries. Sisters wishing to serve no longer need to wait until they are 21, because the age was lowered to 19.

I am 19.

I can serve now, if I so choose. This is a HUGE game changer.

I've always thought about it, but it's always been a possibility in the future, not something that I seriously thought about now. Suddenly though, I can choose now. It's been blowing my mind all day. So many things can and will be different. My life plan is in shambles.

But, all is well. I really think this is where my life is supposed to be headed and I couldn't be happier about it.
