A Happy Song on a Stressful Afternoon

Feeling stressed? Me too, friend, me too. I don't know about you, but when i'm overwhelmed with stuff to do I tend to not do anything; not a very good way of dealing with things, I know. I don't know what it is, but unless all of the things I need to do are centered around one thing I can't juggle multiple responsibilities well. So today instead of making a mental list of everything I need to do this week I'm going to write a list about what I need to accomplish today. Obviously, it's very important to stay on top of things going on in the week, but if you aren't keeping up with the current day's activities because you're worried about the end of the week, you'll never get ahead. Today, I'm actually going to try something new; instead of looking at my stressful todo list at once, I'm going to cut out and fold each item, and then I am going to draw one of a hat. This way, I only have to deal with one thing at once and i'll be more motivated to complete the task because i'll want to follow through with this plan. I'll let you know how it goes, hopefully it does wonder for my sanity and sleeping habits. Though another factor in managing time well is getting rid of distractors. Netfilx is a great distractor; especially when you suddenly want an Avatar: The Last Airbender marathon. Have a great day, stop freaking about your busyness and get something done. Seriously, close that YouTube, Netflix, iwastesomuchtime, Pinterest, or whatever tab and be productive. It's a lot easier said than done, but I promise that when your on a warrior of knowledge roll you won't want to stop until that last homework assignment is complete.
