Ah, music.
Music is incredibly powerful. There's so much to be heard, so much to be felt. It connects people culturally, emotionally, and across ages.
Music is also incredibly personal. Have you noticed how playing a song for someone sometimes takes loads of courage? I definitely have. At my last job, music was constantly playing. One night, when it was just two of my bosses and me, they told me to play whatever I wanted. In that moment, I suddenly realized how weird my music taste was compared to the Justin Bieber, Country, and Ke$ah that usually played. I ended up skipping a lot of songs. I could definitely tell my music taste wasn't what they were expecting and it was not what they wanted to listen to.
Anyway, I'm not entirely sure what I wanted to say when I began this post, but what i'm trying to get at is music is special; whether you like it loud or barely there. As another note, if anyone ever wants you to listen to a song, do it with an open mind. I believe by sharing music we share part of our soul.
With love,
Carolina
